Here are just a few ways you can use your love of sewing year-round by donating your gifts to our community.

Contra Costa County Regional Medical Center:

Contra Costa County Regional Medical Center Layette Program

One of the many programs the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC) provides for its patients is the Layette Program.  The program has been in operation for over 30 years and provides a new mother with basic essentials needed for their infants.  The items provided in the layette include a blanket, receiving blanket, sleeper, onesie, cap, thermometer and baby toy.  They have a group of very dedicated volunteers that meet every Monday to assemble and deliver the layettes.  Each month, more than 175 layettes are distributed.

You can volunteer your time and talents to craft these hand-made items by clicking on this LINK to see patterns.  You may also use this LINK to review their Wish List.  For further information on this program or to arrange to deliver items you would like to donate, please contact Ms. Rhonda Smith at (925) 370-5440 or via email at Rhonda.Smith@hsd.cccounty.us.
